Rudd Forestry, PLLC is owned and operated by Thomas Rudd. Thomas is a registered forester and real estate broker. He grew up on a cattle farm in Caswell County and graduated from North Carolina State University with a bachelor’s degree in Forest Management.
He has 16 years’ experience as a consulting forester and 14 years’ experience as a licensed NC real estate agent. He is also a licensed to practice real estate in Virginia, is an ISA certified arborist, and holds an FAA Part 107 Drone Certification.
Thomas’ primary focus is helping landowners meet their long-term goals for their forestland. Thomas is passionate about preserving and caring for rural land. He volunteers with the North Carolina Tree Farm Program and is a certified Tree Farm Inspector.
When he’s not working, Thomas is still outside. He spends his time working on his family's farm in Caswell County, hiking in the mountains with his wife and two daughters, trail running, biking, and surfing.
